Since the OHG model is becoming increasingly harder to locate, various manufacturers have stepped up and assumed the production of the X-1.  They are available in Europe, the US, and Australia.

The X-1 and its variants closely resemble the Impco Model L.  When at full operating temperature, it is capable of providing fuel for engines producing the following power levels:

• 350 bhp continuous
• 450 bhp for up to 30 seconds
• 500 bhp for 15 seconds
• 600 bhp for 5 seconds

Historically, Impco has been the primary vaporizer provider for the air-valve style mixer.  The Impco Model "E" and Model "L" are excellent performing units with millions produced.  Impco units retail for prices ranging from $175.00 to close to $300.00 USD.  This unit is being offered by a prominent manufacturer.

NEW Century "M6", "H", "85" vaporizers

The Century vaporizers were once the top selling vaporizer in the US and are functionally equal to or better than the Impco series.  Some internal passages are anti-corrosion coated.  In terms of performance, the M-6 is approximately equal to the Impco E and L, while the H falls between the Impco J and L.  The Century 85 is slightly under the Impco J.

New listings of various items:

I recently purchased a box (400 lbs on two large pallets!) of propane fuel items from a company going out of business.  Almost all of these items are used and will be inspected, lightly cleaned where practical, and where applicable, pressure tested.  Some items are new and will list so.  Please note that most of the mixers are equipped for closed loop, and if run on open loop, the mixtures may be rich.

Contact me and ask for specific parts, I may have it.  Prices vary according to application.  I also have several Vortox air cleaner assemblies for the Impco 300-A, mostly on GM TBI applications.

"Effective 1 July, 2008, there are some changes on DualCurve products."

All electronic products are sold "as is - where is", meaning they work when they are shipped out.  Due to the experiences I have encountered by the do-it-yourself installers, there is no warranty of any kind offered, under any circumstance, and since the company manufacturing these components does not offer a warranty on resold components (hence the drastic reduced price from a commercial retailer) I cannot offer one either.  The manufacturer has since ceased operation, these components are becoming scarce, and there are no or very few replacements available.

As with any electronic component. you should use care when installing these devices.  The installer should install a 15 amp fuse on the power supply connection (not included).  If a fuse is not installed and a wrong wire connection is made, the installer will have to drill holes in the box to allow the smoke to escape!

DualCurve Autotronics Model 5914 (3 units left)

Brand new in the box DualCurve computer support for the Ford 4.6 & 5.4 SOHC engines, OBD-I, Crown Victoria, 1992-1995, with injector wiring harness.  These are new units and the boxes have been opened and the instructions "borrowed".  If purchased, a new set of instructions will be e-mailed to the buyer.  This unit can also be adapted to other vehicles by modifying and re-routing the wiring.  This may be one of the least expensive closed loop controllers around!

Special project closed loop controller

This unit was a prototype for the later 5924 and 5944 controllers, minus the full computer support.  It was designed for closed loop operation and gas bleed for idle mixture control.  The outer case is the same as the 59XX series, the primary closed loop control is the same as the later #5952 Digital, while the idle mixture control allows a small amount of fuel to bypass the primary circuit.  Visualize two #5952 controllers in one unit, one fast control for primary mixture control while the other controller is slow, long term updating.

This is a prototype unit that I used on one of my personal vehicles for close to 2 years (until I sold it).  It is used but fully functional.  It is NOT vehicle specific, all you need is an O2 sensor input, tach signal, ignition and ground.  The case looks for all purposes new but there is no label on it.

Included in the box will be the standard 3 port vacuum solenoid AND the idle mixture two port solenoid.  The wiring has been installed but there is still sufficient wiring to reconnect.

I will provide wiring instructions and a limited amount of tech support.

DualCurve Autotronics Model 5909

This unit has been installed and there is no wiring harness or other components.  It was a functioning unit when removed.  The original application is for the 1989-1994 Ford WITHOUT cooling fans.  With some creative wiring, it can be configured as a closed loop controller by connecting a few select wires and terminating others.

1/4" Rigid brand tubing bender for Stainless Steel (2 remaining)

This is a less refined lever type bender for bending Stainless Steel fuel lines on CNG vehicles.  This bender has rubber handle pads.  I use paraffin on the friction block to ease bending effort and work hardening of the metal.  Please note that these are NOT the economy benders commonly seen in discount auto parts stores for bending brake and fuel lines!

These benders have been slightly used while demonstrating tubing bending for classes.  They are fully functional and practically like new.
